People -- regular folks -- can be mean and brutal if they are abused. Marketeers need to know the pros/cons, challenges/opportunities. Consumers need to know that they have a powerful platform to strike back and cause real damage.

| You have to love the new breed of marketeers, publicists. They have every web badge you can find in the social arena but finding their email address on the firm's website is a futile effort. But they're the guardians of the company, the gatekeepers, the herders media people go to first to get to the person who really knows the information, can provide the answers. Dealing with questions/answers in realtime? We'll get back to you on that. Handling issues as the arise? Aaahh Right? Knowing the company, the products, the competition, the markets, the customers? Isn't there an app for that?
