It is specifically applied to the last 4 or 5 days of any launch process, and immediately after this you usher in the "Buy Now" button. The Death Grip Method is to be used in the last 5 days building up towards the launch.
How to get and leverage attention from the mass media
To get mass media attention, you have to broadcast for a reason. That means your message is broadcast to a lot more people than those in your niche. This is where most people get it completely wrong, and here Joel Roberts gave some very good advice. No matter what your niche is, you have to figure out a way to frame it so that the masses will listen. If you can grab their attention for an instant, you can then go into the details. But, if you start with the details and the solution, you won’t get anywhere with the mass media.

The spiritual muscle is the energetic capacity for deep listening, attention or consciousness that exists behind our stream of consciousness mind. It is innate; we are born with it. Through it we connect to our soul, and thence to the cosmic consciousness, to the Divine, to our Source, to God. It is a "psychic muscle," if you will, that develops through use. By exercising this psychic muscle we increase our access to and experience of our Divine connection, becoming more spiritually fit.

Personal Growth - Failure Consciousness versus Success Consciousness
After hearing a number of recommendations for the book Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill, I downloaded a copy to listen to in the car. One of the first things the book says is to take it one chapter at a time, really absorb each one and integrate the ideas slowly, making them your own. Having to spend the next 2 hours in the car I initially scoffed at listening to just one chapter. The first profound statement hit me as the book unfolded in the first chapter. It said ‘the goal of this book is to help you move from a failure consciousness to a success consciousness’. I did indeed stop the book after the first chapter and give it some thought, which quickly made me realize how much of my life I have spent with a failure consciousness.
