How To Make Web-Advertising Worth Watching
| |
| It has become an article of faith that the Web is all about content; content is King on the Web as opposed to television where commercials are king. It seems that television networks just can't wrap their heads around the Internet and fit it into their standard commercial box. The traditional media's tactic of last resort, buying-up the competition and imposing its commercial will, just won't work with the Internet. Businesses that want to succeed on the Web must learn how to turn their commercial message into content as a seamless entertaining presentation. |

You're buying tangible and intangible features because he/she may be good but not right. Good at what they do but wrong for your organization, your corporate personality, your market/customers. SBA Loan Program Basic
| |
| All SBA loan programs lend to small businesses unable to secure financing on reasonable terms through normal lending channels. The loan programs are operated through private-sector lenders that provide loans which are, in turn, guaranteed by the SBA. Keep in mind that the SBA has no funds for direct lending or grants. Most private lenders (banks, credit unions, etc.) are familiar with SBA loan programs so you should contact your local lender for further information and assistance in the SBA loan application process.

Passing Up Good for Great
| |
| Work/life balance requires surrender of part of one area - whether it's time spent on work or time spent on personal matters - in favor of the other. But we don't generally like giving up anything we want. We want it all, and we want it all now. Maturity requires us to recognize that perhaps we can have it all (though that too is open to question), but we certainly can't have it all at the same time. The single most useful skill for deciding how to arrange this work/life balance is the ability to pass up good for great. Learning that skill requires that we be able to recognize what's good and what's great, to identify appropriate time frames to help with the good/great evaluation, and to guard our decisions zealously.

Maturity is About Being True to Yourself
| |
| From age 50 to 60 has become perhaps the most crucial time for reviewing your life. Nature seems to say we have matured to a point whereby its time to again think about our life’s big picture. It’s time to re-connect with your essence - the person you really are, the product of your seed, your genes, your natural selection process. The person you ‘just are’ – a mixture of your natural talents, skills and passionate interests.
It’s not about what you’ve done in life to date. Rather, its about allowing your essence to rekindle its natural desire to pursue ‘the magnificence of uncertainty’. Do it while you still have the health and strength to do so. |
