| Another TED presentation to share:
I spent four days at the annual TED Convention (March 7-10) in Monterey, CA. It was an amazing collection of people, including President Bill Clinton, venture capitalist John Doerr, producer J.J. Abrams, singer Paul Simon, Nobel prize winner Murray Gell-Mann, NBA great Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and a whole slew of politicians, executives, investors, and celebrities.

After 150+ Years, 3D Is About Ready to Come Home

| Go to a content conference, convention -- heck any conference, any convention. What's the leading subject of conversation? OMG 3D movies are fantastic. 3D video games are so real. Did you hear what Sir Howard said the other day? Yep we're all going to have 3D TV by the end of next year...all of us!!! Gee and we're still paying for our big screen HD TV sets (all of them!). DreamWorks Katzenberg, Sony, Panasonic and "them" are hellbent to make certain you get the economy moving in the right direction. Don't get us wrong. This round of 3D movies are much better than the stuff of the 50s. Notice most of them are animated films? Easier to turn 2D into 2.5 or 3D movies. Games? Kids love em. |

of communications, information and entertainment. Where is the technology going?

| Got into Monterey late Monday night and went to the restaurant and read some interesting research while I ate alone! I kinda felt naughty, it was fun, wondering if any of the other diners were going to see me the next day and say, "Hey..." |
