Lesson #3: Stick With the Dress that Fits You Best
Wang was intimately familiar with the sport of ice skating. After her father bought her her first pair of skates and took her to Central Park in New York to try them out, she was immediately hooked. She started taking private lessons at Madison Square Garden and was soon participating in competitions. “Ice skating was the first love of [my] life,” she says.

Winning is not an accident
As many of you already know I’m a bit of a sports enthusiast. Baseball & football are the sports I know the most about and I use many analogies, even with my clients who don’t care a lick about sports. After watching my local Baltimore Ravens team get their backsides handed to them by the New England Patriots, I couldn’t help but give credit where credit is due. Therefore, below is an excellent article by management consultant John Baldoni from the WHARTON CENTER FOR LEADERSHIP AND CHANGE MANAGEMENT about the winning formula developed by Bill Belichick of the New England Patriots. Unlike baseball, there is a salary cap in the NFL so you can’t buy championships. In the NFL you need solid leadership to win back to back championships as the Patriot’s have done and a third may be on the way.

Every Journey Begins with a Single Step
Under Coach Vince Lombardi's direction, the Green Bay Packers collected 6 division titles, 5 NFL championships, 2 Super Bowls, and earned a record of 98-30-4. Lombardi knew a lot about winning and he understood that football is a game of inches.

Wanted: jobs for Africa’s youth - Job Plans
However, most countries have not yet incorporated job creation plans into their national development frameworks. The national strategies include anti-poverty programmes, commonly based on Poverty Reduction Strategy Papers (PRSPs). These are documents developed with assistance from the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to set national priorities, direct spending of debt-relief funds and coordinate donor programmes.

Now You Can Really Motivate Your Staff To Go The Extra Mile
25% of your staff do not know what is expected of them, while at work. Are you shocked at that figure - 25%. I was, so I did something about it. Read the tips and techniques I used to reduce that figure.

Lesson #2: Desire to Make More of Yourself
“Although in skating you compete with other people, anyone who achieves a certain level of success is first and foremost competing against themselves,” says Wang. “And for me the idea that I could always do better, learn more, learn faster, is something that came from skating. But I carried that with me for the rest of my life.”

When to say no to a deal. If you want grow say no!
Wait, before you say, "I did this really small job and it lead to a bigger one, so I never turn down a deal." If you want to think that way, it's OK, but if you want to get to the next level, you need to think differently. I have a very successful client in Hollywood that I work with, he hired me to help him make the jump to the elite level of 8 figure deals. I told him the same thing I'm telling you, say, "No to 80%." He was so challenged by this until I explained to him that the deals he was getting now were the ones turned down by the elite level 8 figure guys. If you want 8 figure deals you have think like an 8 figure guy and NOT take 6 figure deals.

Heroes Who Instill Confidence and Courage!
I continue to enjoy watching the Olympic games on TV - winter sports are a favorite of mine. Not only do I get much personal pleasure watching the x-country skiing, the figure skating and the snow-boarding, to name a few of the sports, but I really love listening to the athletes as they are being interviewed. These young people are in a class of their own. I aspire to that level of excellence, both in my personal life and in my business.

Enrolling Clients at Live Events
Is it time for you to consider cashing in on your Mojo? Having a live event is the #1 way I see entrepreneurs leap from hovering around the six-figure mark to a multi-six- or seven-figure business.

Critical Advice To Maximize Your Personal Development
Sometimes it is much too complicated to figure out what you want to do with the rest of your life. If you are baffled by that you should try mapping out what you want to do with the next five years. That should be much less taxing to figure out.
