I have been an Internet Marketer for the last 3 years and the more successful and experienced I become the more fantasy and folklore I seem to find on the subject of passive/residual income. You see, I always believed and I was always told ….. that by being in network marketing or MLM over time I would be in the enviable position of being able to lie back on a secluded beach drinking cocktails and doing very little because my downline would provide for me with passive income checks so big and regular that my life of luxury was never in doubt. All I had to do was to just keep following the plan, hosting the home parties, phoning 50 people per day, hand out the flyers and buy the expensive leads and the sales would follow and my downline would be queueing up at the door to join me.
