Capacity Utilization and Constraints
Capacity is the sum of what your organization can create, given its resources, to meet sales, demand, and product mix changes. Often it can’t react as quickly as you’d like, either up or down. You have noticed that. Choose the actions that fit your objectives, that can be effective within your organization’s culture and capability. Many actions are cost effective; choose what fits.

There is more to e-procurement than software), the majority of respondents do not view the current process has being effective. Lesson #3: “No person can get very far in life working 40 hours a week.”
Growing up in an impoverished childhood, Marriott knew all too well that success began with determination. From traveling across the U.S. to help support his father’s sheepherding business, to working every summer to pay for his university tuition, Marriott grew up with a determined attitude. Even his professors knew that Marriott was someone to watch for, after he turned his small, one-man operation selling woollen items to lumberjacks into an operation of 45 college students who sold products in seven different states.

Just In Time, or Just In Case

The alternative is Just In Case; inventory is ordered in advance to allow for eventualities. Your organization probably depends on some of each.

5 Tips To Make Sure You Don’t End Up An Accidental Spammer
The Unsolicited Electronic Messages Act 2007has only caught one victim – Lance Atkinson who in December 2008 was fined NZ$110,000 for being part of an “international spam email operation” (NZ Herald 23 December 2008). But does that mean that a NZ business that isn’t part of such an operation can safely ignore it? The answer is no, because people’s tolerance of spam is ever decreasing and with that there is an expectation that legitimate businesses will have email policies in place which comply with the Act.
