| We have all come into contact with one at some time or another but there is nothing that causes more angst in the workplace than the activities of a bully. Strutting around, loud mouthed, opinionated, full of bluster and of course always right. If a situation arises in which there may be (God forbid) the possibility of error – then the shouting begins and it is all YOUR FAULT. The fault cannot possibly lie with the person who is always right (the bully). He, or she, must keep control of the situation. To do otherwise is to admit a failure, an error, and this cannot be. Result? Unhappiness all round. |

Difference between being honest and opinionated

| There is a difference with being an honest person and labeled as opinionated. There are many times that your opinions are important, useful, and helpful and I’m sure appreciated!
Our opinions come from our own life experiences. Each person has their own individual perceptions, beliefs, cultural and religious experience and overall life experiences. And, we need to be open and respectful to another perspective.
A few things for you to ask yourself are:
1. Why do you feel it’s necessary to share your opinions so frequently?
2. Do you respect others?
3. What is your intention when sharing?
You may not be intentionally trying to upset anyone. Others may feel you are being opinionated when you add your opinions regularly on top of others. For example, if someone in your book club is sharing their thoughts about the book and you |

| And those are the most difficult sales people, the ones that are motivated through a variety of different motivations, but the biggest one is the need to be assertive and to have power of their own. And these are typically the type of sales people that are highly opinionated, they are brash at times, they are boorish at times, they are fiercely independent, and they have a strong desire to have their voices heard.
