Finding Your Niche in Life -- Live with Passion and Purpose
Many of us go through life following the path of least resistance. This may mean having a job that pays the bills, but that we don’t actually like. We know what to do and it is comfortable to be there. But where’s the passion and the excitement in life? Where is the challenge that makes us feel alive and able to do anything? Do you want to get up every day with energy and ready to face the day? That is what finding your niche in life can do. It can bring a new dimension to your life.

The Path of Least Resistance
When faced with a difficult situation it is often desirable to take the path of least resistance (acquiescence). At other times we may choose to compromise, reserving some semblance of our original stance. In the most powerful instances we accept the starkness, the difference of our stance and we choose to go forward with it. It is here that we truly have the power to inspire and innovate.

Never Sell Alone
Sales can be a lonely game. During an economic downturn, sometimes it can be downright depressing. One of the best ways to keep morale high is being able to look around and know that you're dealing with the tough times as a team. You don't have to weather the storm alone.

When Sales Goals Change but Behavior and Results Don't
Suppose that you need your salespeople to find significantly more new business. Perhaps you've wanted this for a while but it's only recently that you communicated this to your salespeople. You've changed the goal but after a month your salespeople's behavior and results haven't changed at all.

Be A Student
The wonderful thing I am learning about “learning”, and I am hearing it from many different locations all at once, is simply this; When you truly enter into an attitude of learning, rather than one of thinking that you know it all, and you give yourself permission to be open to other people’s ideas and suggestions, the frequency of learning opportunities becomes infinite, and your potential of greater success becomes assured.

The Art of the Sales Process: The Compassionate Sales Conversation
In this economy the approach to selling needs to shift. People have been burned too many times, and some are feeling such a lack of resources, that the old "hard" selling methods are not seeing results like before. When business growth comes from connection with higher source and authentic purpose and contribution you can't go wrong. This is what I call, "The New Wealth." This may seem like a strange article on the surface, but I know once you dive in you'll have a whole new look on your approach to sales. I have found the only way to really unleash massive success is to turn to your natural path of least resistance which is often revealed through alchemy of nature - wealth alchemy as I love to call it.

Leadership, Management, and Coaching

I Know How to Do This!
I thought I had pre-paved a happy-go-lucky attitude towards being a mother. I had intended to let my son, Lucky, follow his own path and my job was to get out of the way. Ahem! Well, my little controller side came out in full force in ways I had not expected. I started out by trusting that Lucky would find his own sleeping pattern. That didn't work. So, when he was four months old I swung to the opposite side of the issue. My child would forever more be on a sleeping schedule. This potentially could've worked if I were more relaxed about it. But I wasn't. I was in huge conflict with my mate, Steve, about my schedule and method of putting Lucky to bed.

Are You Giving Customer Reasons Not To Do Business With You?
Doing business today is not easy, I recognize that, but sometimes I wonder if we are making it far harder than it has to be. Are we really sure that every time someone wants to do business with us, we are making it as easy as possible? Are we sure there are no obstacles in the way, or we are not missing opportunities to move a relationship forward or close a sale? Given the choice, customers take the path of least resistance. If you want to grow your business, then you need to make sure doing business with you is as easy and as pleasurable an experience as possible.

Home Based Business Positioned To Beat The Recession
Home based business online is one of the most cost effective ways for entrepreneurs to beat the recession. The entrepreneurial spirit is kindled by necessity when economic instability threatens jobs. Making plans before the layoffs of downsizing happens is a viable possibility when you are looking at home based business online. The truth is that many home based business owners will fail to create the income that they expect. The fault does not lie with the opportunity, but rather with the person who owns it. Most people are unprepared to build a home based business.

Leadership Tip - Stop Choking Dreams With Fear & Doubt
Most people walk around with submerged dreams filled with fear and doubt. We all have dreams of something better: A better career, a better relationship, a better environment, a better lifestyle, a better financial portfolio, or whatever we want to improve in our life. Just because we want something better doesn’t necessarily mean there is something wrong with what you have - it just means you are following the natural course of life. You are meant to evolve and grow. Nothing, nothing stays stagnate. Yet most people keep trying to get something better using the same thoughts and skills from the past.

The Power of a Quotation

Some were home grown expressions, others were attributed to famous people in history and one was even found on the back of sugar packet! Enjoy…
