The desire for live communication is at the top of the hierarchy of human needs yet there are huge dilemmas such as whether to be tough, sensitive or both and when? The ability to communicate, as well as the opportunity to use, it is a gift from the Creator. Many people are convinced they can never have a lasting relationship in their life. Even those people can have a successful relationship once they set aside their fears and ignore their past failures. It’s all about finding agreements; if both parties will communicate on the issue until the other has heard and understands, they will find agreement is possible. The other divine gift we all share is a free will that allows us to make the choices of how and what to communicate. Those are the decisions that sometimes have irrevocable effects upon our personal destiny.

When Will I Ever Learn?
If we can remember, we'll understand that adolescence ended at a point in time. Although the hormonal changes end with midlife, the deeper changes keep right on going.

It's getting scary when companies cut staff hours to 39 hours a week so they don't have to pay benefits. Or, loyal employees are laid off weeks before retirement benefits kick in. What if I already had a plan?
Discovering what our life's purpose is is a popular concept these days. Could this be because more and more people are awakening to the reason they are here, on Earth, the purpose that is suppose to give our life meaning? Some even say it is destiny, a pre-determined purpose set up to dictate our life's existance. Well what if, rather than it being destiny or a pre-determined purpose created by someone else, it actually is a plan that I, myself, created for my life before I made the journey here. That would mean that I am the one creating my own destiny, my own life's purpose. And my biggest challenge here, on Earth, is to simply remember or re-connect with the plan that I already created for myself. How awesome is that!!!!!

THE ACORN THEORY
The Acorn Theory was first postulated in the modern era, at least in the public domain by James Hillman, author and psychologist, in his bestselling book; The Soul’s Code. It is Hillman’s view that one of life’s greatest mysteries is the question of character and ones destiny. In this theory he proposes that our calling is inborn and that it’s our mission in life to realize its imperatives. He has called it the “acorn theory,” the idea that our lives are formed by a particular image, just as the oak’s destiny is contained in the tiny acorn.
