5 Ways to Stay Focused on Your Goals As an Entrepreneur
We all constantly have to battle life's distractions, as an entrepreneur, to stay laser-focused on achieving our goals. Now I'll admit, it's not always easy to stay on track with a goal you have set out for yourself. Your personal responsibilities, self-esteem, just not enough time, these are all excuses that we, including myself, occasionally use to vision our goals as unreachable.

Communicating for Results
Have you ever felt that no matter how much you "communicate" nothing is getting done? You are saying the same thing over and over. No one seems to get it. How do you get your message to "stick"?

Work Life Balance
Balance is better understood as flow. For instance, I'm building my business right now. It's been my full-time occupation for about six months, and I've spent a disproportionate amount of time during that six months on my business. Since I've made the choice to pass up a variety of recreational activities -- everything from going to the movies to taking a spa vacation with a friend -- it would be easy to conclude that I'm "out of balance."

Work-Life Quality and Balance
Work-Life Quality and Balance is probably the greatest challenge most of us face today. We refer to "work-life" as the holistic view that work and personal responsibilities, in practice, cannot be conveniently separated. Therefore, a new paradigm of self-management becomes necessary. The basic premise of this paradigm is "don't attempt to manage time, learn to manage your most important activities." Read on to learn more!

Work Life Harmony, Rather Than Work Life Balance
Work life balance suggests people are living two lives, one at work and one away from work. But people don't 'work' for five days or more and 'live' for two days or less. Work is just one of many roles that people perform in their week. No matter where they are or what they are doing, day or night, people are carrying personal baggage, problems, responsibilities, personal goals and work goals. Separation of work and personal life roles has become a blur and, to many of us, almost a seamless link. Family friendly policies are now only one aspect of the work life balance issue. Work life balance has become a key factor in attracting and retaining good staff, male and female in a buyers market generated by a shortage of quality skilled staff.

Life’s Big Desires - Your's for the Asking
As an Entrepreneur one of your primary responsibilities is to design a business model that supports business success and a clearly defined personal lifestyle. Being successful at planning and subsequent strategizing does require that you first process your desires at a deeply personal level. It is simply not possible to separate your inner game from business growth – it is all part of an effective working “system.” It is not that one must precede the other, but that they run through your life synergistically.

The Importance of Job Descriptions
The EEOC recently published its Best Practices to assist employers in avoiding violations of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Americans with Disabilities Act as it relates to employees with caregiving responsibilities (read more about avoiding caregiver discrimination claims at instanthrsolutions.com). One of the recommendations is that employers develop "specific, job-related qualification standards" to ensure that hiring decisions are based on an applicant's qualifications, rather than on his or her personal caregiving responsibilities. The same holds true for any other protected category under federal equal employment opportunity laws, including race, color, national origin, religion, gender, disability, or age.

Top Five Responsibilities of Nonprofit Board Members
I have seen effective and ineffective boards of directors. Good boards of directors are clear about their roles and responsibilities versus those of the Executive Director, and they don't overstep their boundaries. Tiger Woods needs a Life Coach and so do you!
Dear Tiger, as the #1 Online Life Coach I’m here to remind you that, you do not have ” rights” you only have “responsibilities.” You chose to enter the public realm of Pro sports and you chose to accept the benefits of being a household name. Because of this you surrendered your rights of personal privacy. Do I agree with you that you should have some privacy? Yes! But that doesn’t matter, the world does not work like that anymore. They don’t want to report on a functional family and the moment you chose to be dysfunctional, you sent them a personal invitation to turn your life upside down.
