Lesson #4: Take Control
“I don't like formal gardens,” said Disney. “I like wild nature. It's just the wilderness instinct in me, I guess." Despite his apparent disregard for structure, Disney was a hands-on entrepreneur, who enjoyed taking control over all aspects of his company. While it was in part personality-driven, Disney’s hands-on nature was also due to a lesson he learned the hard way early on in his career.

You feel like your efforts are not being justly rewarded, but who can you talk to about it? Well, if you work at Costco, you can go straight to the head honcho, the man in charge, Jim Sinegal.

Kaiser Permenente - User Submitted Health Plan Reviews
I currently have Kaiser Permenente's health insurance. Kaiser is the preferred provider for my husband's work, who carries the health insurance for our family. I do not care for the insurance program. Firstly, it is expensive. For a family of 5, we pay approximately $500 per month in premiums. Secondly, the co-pays are high. To visit the doctor it costs anywhere from $30-$50, depending on the type of doctor being seen. I recently had a baby, and while the regular visit co-pay was cheaper at $15 per visit, I had to pay the $15 co-pay every time I was seen. Near the end of my pregnancy, I was having some complications and was being seen up to twice weekly. During the last month, I amassed over $100 in co-pays for obstetrical care. With Kaiser's program, I also feel more like a number than an actual person. The quality of care is comparable

She went on tell me the ingredients of her cookie and its nutritional merits. I then asked if it was an all butter cookie. She answered no, that it was a shortening cookie made with zero trans fat shortening. This made my blood boil. I told her that I wished I would have know before I tasted the cookie. A debate followed and before you judge as another food snob let me tell you why...
