Improve Your Health to Enjoy Your Wealth
What good is being successful in your business if you have such poor health you cannot enjoy it? I know it is hard to get the adequate sleep we need when building a business. It is difficult to treat exercise as a necessity as compared to researching the best keywords for your Google AdWords campaign. You see immediate need in what you are doing right now, yet ignore the things you need to do (not just want to do) to stay healthy for yourself, your business, and your family. So just as you did with your personal and business goals when you first started your business, go ahead and take out a sheet of paper and start writing down the following goals you need so you can improve your health to enjoy your wealth.

Why Selling Is Like Racquetball
I finally got back into my favorite sport – Racquetball. It’s been nearly four years since I played. When we moved from New Jersey to Las Vegas, there were no clubs nearby for me to join. But they finally opened a brand new health club not far from my home. So I joined and am back to playing my favorite sport 3 times a week. I really didn’t realize how much I missed it till I started playing again. I guess after being away from it for a while gave me a new perspective once I resumed playing again because I was suddenly aware of several interesting analogies between this fast-paced sport and selling. Yes, you heard me. I can see several similarities between playing Racquetball and Selling!

Kids and Pets Still Popular
Kids and Pets: Still Popular Kids represent huge opportunities for franchise companies. There are 4 million babies being born every year in the U.S. and most families are dual-income households. That combination has created $60 billion in annual revenues for the childcare industry. As the number of children increases, so does the competition to get into the best schools. Parents are feeling the pressure to help their kids get a competitive edge and a growing number are willing to pay for supplemental education services. In this issue we talk to Dr. Nick Whitehead of Oxford Learning and Amy Peterson-Smith of Kiddie Academy to get their views on the business of kids.

Lesson #2: Be Able to Say “I did it My Way”
No matter where young Tajiri went as a boy, it seemed he never quite fit in. He collected insects when most of his friends were cramming for college. He spent his money playing video games when most of the other kids were saving up. And, he always remained just a little bit to himself.

Tagged
I remember growing up we use to play a game called "tag". I am sure you remember playing this game with the neighborhood kids. One or more kids would count to 10 and then chase other kids to tag them and they would be what we called "it". The kids who were tagged were the next ones to count, chase, and tag kids. A couple other things I think of when I think about the word "tagged" is when graffiti artist tagged walls with spray paint or when people get tagged with a tatoo somewhere on their body.

5 Kids Franchise Opportunities That Keep Kids Fit
A side-effect of our increasingly digital lifestyle in America is that kids simply don't get the kind of exercise they used to. This coupled with poor eating habits has lead to the highest rates of child obesity and type-2 diabetes in children that our country has ever seen. If you want to help kids stay fit and run your own successful business at the same time, take a look at five of the best franchise opportunities to help kids stay fit and healthy.

Learn to Organize - Learn to Live
Why is it that "9:00 to 5:00", regular vacations, playing with the kids, reading for enjoyment and the likes are no longer in our vocabulary? Why is it that more often than not it seems like it's all work and no life? Is it just the sign of the times or could our problems, possibly, be self-inflicted?

Are You Playing to Win or Playing Not to Lose?
You may have heard the phrase "playing to win or playing not to lose." And while it sounds good to say "you're playing to win" in your business, what exactly does that really mean? Below are some signs that will show you which way you're leaning.

New Real Estate Agent Advice - Does the Consumer Really Need a Realtor?
It can be hard hearing negative things about your profession after you've spent a lot of time and money educating yourself so you can represent your client diligently, or you've negotiated a contract into the wee hours, or worked the weekends instead of playing with the kids. (Hear the little violin?) But all that doesn't matter to the consumer. The consumer, well, consumes. Realtors are often in the position of trying not to get consumed while still making a buck.

Is it what's WRONG with these kids? or what's RIGHT with these kids?
Kids! I don't know what's wrong with these kids today! Kids! Who can understand anything they say? Kids!

Be A Model For Your Kids
Do you have little kids in your home? If so, I applaud your courage and hard work - it takes plenty of both to raise kids these days. When they reach a certain age (around adolescence), you may become convinced otherwise, but your kids take most of their cues from you. You should do whatever you can to keep yourself healthy for your own sake - but developing (and displaying) great health habits is even more important when you have kids watching everything you do....
