The Weapon
There is always a danger in focusing on the tools used to get a job done. (We all know the cliché about the six-year old with a chain saw...) That said however, a robust CRM system just might be the most powerful tool a sales team can have.

Plan Set Goal Organize More Organizing Back to the Vision Feed the Funnel
Planning is the outline of your business. It begins with the business plan, marketing plan and yearly vision. But it is more than this, it is a daily link between your goals and the plan of action to gain the desired results you want to achieve. What is the difference between planning and organizing?

AN EXAMPLE OF AN ACTION PLAN
Some helpful hints to enhance the possibility of attainment of goals: 1. Commitment and a planned approach to an Action Plan or a Learning Plan is more likely to achieve results. Goals must be written down. 2. Be expressed in the present tense, as if they were real. 3. Clear and sharp focus on the short steps necessary to achieve the results. To illustrate how this might work in real life, let us take an example of an athlete who wants to improve the speed at which he or she runs 1500m. Here is an example what An Action Plan to achieve the goal might look like:

How to develop a career action plan
The focus of this article is on the development of your career action plan. However, the process can also be easily adapted to other areas of your life. The first and most important step is to make a decision. The decision is whether or not you need a career action plan. Many may not require any action in their career at this stage of their life. For some there are more important areas in their life to which they want to devote their time. The challenge is to make a conscious decision and either accept the current job or put into place actions to achieve your goal job.

3 Steps To Creating A Marketing Plan For Your Business
Every start-up venture needs a business plan, yet many entrepreneurs do not realize a marketing plan is equally vital. Unlike a business plan, the marketing plan focuses on the customers. A marketing plan includes numbers, facts and objectives, but it is not primarily numerical; it is strategic. It is your plan of action - what you will sell, to whom you will sell it and how often, at what price, and how you will get the product to the buyer. Here's a closer look at putting together a marketing plan that works.

Hold On To Your Plan -- “Loosely”
You have to have a DEFINITE plan, a DEFINITE purpose and take DEFINITE action to get your results. So why am I talking about holding on to your plan "loosely"? That is exactly what I am saying without detracting from the importance of planning, purpose and action.

Thinking is Great But Action is What Counts
It is fine to spend some time thinking and planning when you get involved in a new business or you if you are already in business. In fact if you don't then you are most likely to cause yourself many problems. However you can have the perfect plan and the perfect product but if you dont take ACTION then nothing will ever happen. Action is key to any business succeeding, without it you will end the day in the same place you started the day. So take action now , it is better to do and fail than not to do at all.

An Action Plan Example
An action plan could be thought of as a smaller version of your business plan. It could even be thought of as a band-aid to temporarily fix what ails your business. Or it could be a pretty fast and incredibly powerful tool to help bring your business into the now. To help you decide here is an outline and an action plan example to help you on your way.

Action Plan Example
Action plans are fairly common in business, but probably done wrong as often as not. A lot of people do not understand what an action plan is and often mistake it for a COE or Correction Of Errors, not one of my favorite types of documents. Having a good action plan starts with an understanding of what an action plan is and a great action plan example would be a huge help in this. An action plan is a forward looking document and should be addressed as one. When looking at an action plan example one should take this into account. Action plans prevent business gaffs, keep everyone on task and help smooth out operations. In a way they could be considered a mini business plan, though I tend to look at them as a working business plan.
