Procrastination- 4 Essentials to Break Through
We have all experienced the great feeling of working through to a goal step by step. We have also experienced those times when we put something off that could make a positive long-term impact in our life. Here are 4 essentials to grab when you feel stuck.

I know, I know….I should start an exercise program, I should fix that hole in the screen, I should take the car in for an oil change. Am I the only one that procrastinates? I don’t think so. It’s a topic that comes up often in my seminars. With some research and discussions with psychologists I was actually able to develop an easy formula to explain why we procrastinate and then tips to stop. Great right? So I call these my four IDDM's (not items) of procrastination and we’ll use an acronym of IDDM. Ready?

If you work with a procrastinator life can be full of stress and deep-seated anger. So, what can you do? First thought is to fire the slug! Slow is okay, tardy is often acceptable. However, promises that are made and never kept, well, that is another story.

You put off something which you know you’ve got to do at some point, and which actually you could do straightaway. You put off to try and make more pleasant, but often end up making yourself feel stressed and guilty instead. There are many ways you can procrastinate and some of them masquerade as being helpful.
