The New Rules for Successfully Landing Media Coverage
One of the upsides of the net, social media and blogs, is that you can now learn so much about writers, editors and producers that you are pitching. You can learn their interests and study their writings. Now, when you pitch a story, you can have a much better take on whether your pitch is appropriate or off-base. Instead of sending out hundreds of emails and packages hoping that a few hit the right target, the savvy approach is to pick a small number of media contacts, do your research and make more focused, targeted pitches.

The Birth of Diddy: Sean Combs Makes His World Debut
Born on the dangerous streets of Harlem and exposed to violence at an early age, the odds were stacked against Sean Combs, a.k.a. Diddy, from day one. Online Videos … The Move to Entertain, Educate, Sell
If you're like us you're watching more of your TV over the Internet. Why not? No need to let some psycho at the network dictate what you watch and when. Funny thing is the ads even look better on the iNet. They're faster, crisper, more entertaining. Ok not all...some are long, boring, sloppy, crappy! All by ourselves we're going to change all that (yeah right) with some advice to those folks on how they can produce better videos that folks want to watch. If only a few listen maybe you'll want to begin a steady diet of marketing videos. Wouldn't that be great you watch the stuff then you go buy the stuff, the economy gets better, you miss more TV shows, watch more stuff on the Web and the cycle continues till we finally take most governments off life support and they act like responsible citizens...cool !!!!

Technology is So Passé … It’s All About Fashion
We looked at the stuff at CES...at CTIA...at NAB...at all the shows and media coverage. There was an epiphany (gotta love that word). The PC/CE/communications/content industry isn't about technology...it's fashion! It's what's hot...what's not. Notebooks...no netbooks...no smartphones...no ebooks...no tablets. Local storage...centralized storage...personal storage...cloud storage. Your next product, service can be hot, cold, dead in a month. We flip faster than skirts rise and fall. There are no bold , ah ha predictions here but at least you'll know why you change phones, computers (whatever) more often than you change cars. What's it gonna be tomorrow? Don't ask the buying public(s)..invent it!!!! -- borrowed from John Doerr (come on what do you think fashion is? Right creative borrowing!).
