BUSINESS ETIQUETTE
No matter what you do or what position you hold, the way you dress and present yourself can have a major impact on your success. Despite claims to the contrary, people always judge you by the image you project. Competition is fierce and your image can be an asset or a hindrance. Proper etiquette dictates that you practice different kinds of behavior at home, at your favorite social hangout, and at work. If you start treating your boss and your coworkers the same way you treat people you hang out with at the corner bar, you are asking for big trouble.

Manage Your Salespeople by Working Smart, Negotiate Quotas
How do you get your salespeople to "buy-in" to keeping good records of what they do every day? Sit down one-on-one, and negotiate their annual quotas with them. Help them translate their annual quota into their individual daily behavior. For example, a $5 million annual quota might equal three New Dials, one New Appointment, two Futures, one Referral Received and two Customer Visits every day. Don't forget to have them either write in or phone in their daily behavior numbers to post on the community "behavior board" for all to see.
