| As a book marketing expert and book publicist I have represented a long list of authors, some of whom have chosen to use pen names. Others have asked me about the wisdom of using a pen name. My general response is to advise against a pen name but there are good reasons not to sign a book with your real name. Here’s a pro/con discussion with a little history as well. |
