Lesson #1: Good Taste Means Good Business
| |
| “If a man goes into business with only the idea of making a lot of money, chances are he won't,” Hall wrote in his autobiography, When You Care Enough. “But if he puts service and quality first, the money will take care of itself. Producing a first-class product that is a real need is a much stronger motivation for success than getting rich." |

Catchy Cleaning Business Names
| |
| The myth is that you need to have your name as close to the front of the alphabet as possible. That's not exactly the truth. Most people will bypass "AAA Cleaners" because the thought is that if someone doesn't care enough about their business name to present themselves, they will not care too much about the quality of service. While looking for names in the phonebook, most people look at the ads first. What you really need is an ad in the local yellow pages that stands out. Key Ways to Convey Quality
| |
| Let’s say that what differentiates your product or service from the competition’s is quality. It may seem like advertising “quality” would be a breeze, right? Unfortunately, it’s not. Customers hear the word “quality” all the time –often from companies selling low-quality products.
In this sense, quality is like trust. If a salesperson resorts to “You can trust me,” it’s often an indicator to beware. Accordingly, if a company is too direct in how it advertises “quality,” customers may ignore the claim or be suspicious of it. So how can you prove that your product or service is the real deal? Following are some often-overlooked ways to convey quality.

SEO Quality Vs SEO Quantity
| |
| We all know it; we've always known it and we'll tell our own clients and anyone who'll listen until we're blue in the interface. It's ALL about quality not quantity. Quality outs. Quality ins. Kaiser Permenente - User Submitted Health Plan Reviews
| |
| I currently have Kaiser Permenente's health insurance. Kaiser is the preferred provider for my husband's work, who carries the health insurance for our family. I do not care for the insurance program. Firstly, it is expensive. For a family of 5, we pay approximately $500 per month in premiums. Secondly, the co-pays are high. To visit the doctor it costs anywhere from $30-$50, depending on the type of doctor being seen. I recently had a baby, and while the regular visit co-pay was cheaper at $15 per visit, I had to pay the $15 co-pay every time I was seen. Near the end of my pregnancy, I was having some complications and was being seen up to twice weekly. During the last month, I amassed over $100 in co-pays for obstetrical care. With Kaiser's program, I also feel more like a number than an actual person. The quality of care is comparable |

Health Habits: Get Fit, Save Money
| |
| You know what they say: "The road to Hell is paved with good intentions." That's what's happening with health care in the United States, and perhaps throughout the world of "Western socialism" today.
