Worry
Worry has been described as "interest paid on trouble before it comes due." One of America's worst enemies is worry. Worry is like a rocking chair; it requires a lot of energy, and it gets you nowhere. Leo Buscaglia said, "Worry never robs tomorrow of its sorrow, it only saps today of its joy."

New School Year: Lessons from a Middle Schooler
Today is the first day of school in Michigan and I am the new mom to a Middle Schooler!. Time has flown so quickly. It seems like just yesterday that I was holding him in the rocking chair in his room. I remember looking at his little legs and thinking to myself, “some day his legs will hang over mine when he sits on my lap. I can’t even imagine it.” And now here we are, it’s been years since he’s spent any time on my lap. His legs would almost hit the ground, all in the blink of an eye. Where has the time gone? I watch with amazement as he heads off to Middle School with nothing more than anticipation. Hallways to maneuver, new school, way more kids, lockers and classes to find. His elementary school is nothing more than a fond memory and he is ready to move on. I am so proud of him today!

Many women who leave the workplace to raise children become isolated and depressed. As you might have read in my article in Reader's Digest, my friend Jennifer is different. She realized that having a community, preserving her relationships, and making new friends was going to be as important to her happiness at home as it was to her success at work. And she is rocking!

"Look here," said the man in the parking lot. "No, I'm not begging. Look at this chair. It is the first one he has made."

From Rhetoric to Action: The African Investment Climate Facility
The Investment Climate Facility (ICF) for Africa, an innovative public private partnership aimed at making Africa a better place in which to do business, was launched. The Commission for Africa, convened by the United Kingdom government, had proposed the initiative, which was endorsed at last year's World Economic Forum Africa Economic Summit and by the leaders of the G 8 industrialized nations at their summit in Scotland. According to ICF Co Chair and session Chair Niall FitzGerald, Chairman, Reuters, United Kingdom; Member of the Foundation Board of the World Economic Forum, the facility had already received US$ 90 million in commitments. Additional unspecified pledges made by the European Union and the African Development Bank during the session were likely to push the total above US$ 100 million.

Self-Coaching Tip: If You Can't Breathe....Laugh!
In the wee hours of a morning, during my son's first month of life, I rocked Jonathan to sleep after his two a.m. feeding. I had dozed for a moment or so, lulled by the gentle rhythmic rocking and the heat of our bodies against one another. When I swam back to consciousness, I opened my eyes expecting to find Jonathan asleep.

What Are the Best MLM Businesses For Seniors - 3 Criteria For You to Contemplate
The myth of seniors sitting at home in their rocking chair is rapidly dissipating, as more and more seniors are becoming entrepreneurs. Today's 60 or 65-year-old is not ready to "retire." And it looks like the 65, 70, [or even 75 and older] are not retiring either - instead many are becoming entrepreneurs. No sitting at home for these active minds!

Giveaway Marketing Basics
Here's something to consider whenever launching a giveaway marketing campaign: what's in it for the giver? Giving stuff away just to get the word out isn't really much of a justification. For instance, giving away free chairs would be pretty pointless for a chair seller. The buyer already has a chair, so why would they ever bother going into the store and buying one now?
