Critics were skeptical of Foreman’s decision to return to boxing after some ten years. He was out of shape, some said. He was only in it for the publicity, said others. They were right about one thing – Foreman was definitely no longer in his prime.

He was unpopular both in the ring and out, and unless he was willing to make some changes, Foreman knew that nobody would want to listen to him talk, let along buy anything from him.
