Why People Buy
Why do people buy? The answer may seem like common sense, but it is not. Most sales people have no idea why their customers buy. They assume that customers buy for their reasons, when in fact the opposite is true, and here is the common sense part: customers buy for their own reasons. Many companies still attempt to make customers buy for their reasons. You must understand why your customers buy your product or service

Lesson #5: Know Your Enemy
“A man always has two reasons for doing anything,” Morgan believed. “A good reason and the real reason.” Morgan was a mastermind when it came to knowing and being able to read his enemy. He knew his limits but he was able to sense theirs as well. He was thus able to navigate himself through the competition to end up on top.

The Truth About Customers
You may think you know why your customers buy from you, but there's a good chance they buy for reasons other than the reasons you think. Or they don't buy for reasons that may escape you.

Cold Calling is Dead! Long Live Cold Calling!

3 Reasons Identity Management is a “MUST”… and strategies to make it affordable
Identity Management for companies with employees that have access to critical data is a MUST. Over the years I have had the privilege to work with many companies large and small, who have different business needs. In many cases I hear all the reasons, (and sometimes excuses) for not implementing a solution, policy or methodology. Sometimes these reasons even make perfect sense! Common Sense and Success
We are all born with five senses: sight, sound, touch, taste and smell. These senses help us navigate our way through the world. They bring us delight in small things. They also warn us when danger threatens. However, I believe that we all have a sixth, and underused sense, our common sense. Your common sense helps you make the right decision in ambiguous situations -- but only if you use it. When I tell people that I'm the Common Sense Guy, people often come back with Will Rogers' saying, "Common sense isn't all that common." I disagree. I think that we all have innate common sense. It's a natural gift, just like our five other senses. We don't always use it though. If you are willing to let your common sense guide you today, you can use it as a guide tomorrow, the next day, next week and next month.

Experienced human resources expertise
If someone tells you there is only one way to do something...run! No seriously, ask some clarifying questions. Is there only one way for legal, performance or other reasons? Why is there only one way? Make sure you understand the reason and that it makes good business sense - or don't do it. Trust the instincts that have made you successful to this point.
