10 Ways to Build a Strong Spiritual Life
This list comes from an article I read several years ago (March 2001) that appeared in Prevention magazine written by Rev. Natalia Vonnegut Beck. TED: Finding Balance
Another TED presentation to share: I spent four days at the annual TED Convention (March 7-10) in Monterey, CA. It was an amazing collection of people, including President Bill Clinton, venture capitalist John Doerr, producer J.J. Abrams, singer Paul Simon, Nobel prize winner Murray Gell-Mann, NBA great Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and a whole slew of politicians, executives, investors, and celebrities.

Your Soul's Deepest Desires Activate the Law of Attraction
Sometimes knowing about the Law of Attraction can get you into trouble.

Involuntary Midlife Reinvention
Every event in life can be seen either as happening to us, or happening for us. How we look at it takes no more effort than Epictetus expended in coming to the realization that we are, after all, the Meaning Givers in the physical universe and that whatever meaning we choose to put on events will, ultimately, determine their outcome and their effects.

AN EXAMPLE OF AN ACTION PLAN
Some helpful hints to enhance the possibility of attainment of goals: 1. Commitment and a planned approach to an Action Plan or a Learning Plan is more likely to achieve results. Goals must be written down. 2. Be expressed in the present tense, as if they were real. 3. Clear and sharp focus on the short steps necessary to achieve the results. To illustrate how this might work in real life, let us take an example of an athlete who wants to improve the speed at which he or she runs 1500m. Here is an example what An Action Plan to achieve the goal might look like:

Discovering and Living by Your Core Values
Core values are essential to keeping your life on track. Do you know yours? Most don't! Would you like to know yours? Here are a couple of quick ways to help you get started in discovering your core values and help you hammer them into a values statement:

Being True to Your Values
Reflect on your Life in a holistic way. If you have clear understanding of your destination, the end in mind, what matters to you most, then the steps you take will always be in the right direction. The more your goal fits into the structure of your core beliefs and values, the more likely it is going to be achieved.

Countless books have been written on how to create a greater sense of spiritual awareness. Seven Steps to Positive Power
As part of your spiritual refinement, you might seek to eliminate the character flaws that affect your life most negatively and to add as many good traits as possible, since all good traits affect your life positively. Only a clear perception of the exquisite worth of your spiritual traits will cause you to rid yourself of your negative habits and cultivate positive ones. The more negative habits you can weed out, the better your life will become. Some habits may disappear as easily as pressing the delete button on your computer keyboard; others may take years to overcome.

The Universe is Calling - Will You Heed the Call?
"The soul is like a wild animal -- tough, resilient, savvy, self-sufficient, and yet exceedingly shy." Parker J. Palmer from Let Your Life Speak: Listening for the Voice of Vocation In our last issue I made a distinction between one's life purpose and a calling or vocation. As you may recall the Life On Purpose Perspective offers that your life purpose is more about who you are as a spiritual being and what you came here to this life to be and to experience, while a calling or a vocation often has more to do with what you choose or are lead to do as an expression of your purpose. Of course, on one hand anything that you do in life can be enhanced when it's 'poured' into the context of your life purpose. For example, several years ago with Life On Purpose Institute was just getting of

The idea is to develop all these areas equitably to meet your needs.

Channeling: Not Just For Those
This may be hard to believe, but once upon time, only certain, special people could channel Divine Guidance. They were endowed with special psychic gifts that allowed them to access the spiritual realms, hear the voices of non-physical beings and offer spiritual advice and information to other, less gifted individuals who were hungry for spiritual guidance. Channeling your Guidance benefits you and everyone in your life, for it allows you to be in sync with your Higher Self and the greater good for all. And you can get started today!

Your 5 Magical Keys To Align To Spiritual Leadership
The term "spiritual leadership" may bring up certain energies in you depending upon how you define it. Some people feel that they are not a spiritual leader unless they have reached a certain level of fame, or self-sacrifice, or they are living life like the Dalai Lama.
