The Greening of Procurement Revisited (Part 2)
As a follow-up to my post from earlier this week, I am pleased to present Part 2 of the 2 part Greening of Procurement Series: It’s Not Easy Being Green! For those of you who would like to delve even deeper into the factors that are shaping both public and private sector sustainability strategies, including case studies on companies such as Kodak and Ford, you can purchase ($20) my white paper titled The Greening of Procurement: How Social Consciousness is Re-Shaping Procurement Practices (contact the author for ordering details)

The Greeining of Procurement (Part 2): It's not easy being Green!
Are environmental considerations truly the central element of recently emerging green programs, or are they an advantageous, politically correct by-product of an existing strategy that is linked to more “traditional” motives? While the EcoMarkets 2007 Survey adroitly provided us with an unbiased look into the mindset of the purchaser, the attitude (and actions) of vendors requires equal consideration to accurately answer the “motive” question.

It is the time of year when we have this interesting holiday called “Ground Hog’s Day”. For we who live in the Midwest, we pray that he doesn’t see his shadow, for it gives us hope of an early spring. If he does see his shadow, we are destined for 6 more weeks of winter (of course, in Minnesota, that is not a bad option.) What an interesting holiday??!!

Minnesota Foreclosure Laws
Are you facing the possibility of foreclosure? Knowing the State law is the key to helping you through the process. Minnesota foreclosures are handled both in court (judicial) and out of court (non-judicial). What does that mean to you? Foreclosures are processed both with and without court intervention, depending on the particular case. The timeline is usually four months, not including the redemption period.

Don't Be Ashamed....
As a Minnesota home based entrepreneur, I get to talk to a lot of people about their potential future also as a home based entrepreneur. One of my specific areas of business is network marketing; which is also THE largest group of clients that I work with. Although, most people are not cut out for an entrepreneurial career anyway, I hear a lot of excuses as to why these people choose to stay an employee and not take control of their financial futures. The one excuse that I want to talk about today is being ashamed to tell others what they would be doing as a network marketing professional or being recognized as "different" because they wouldn't have to wake up every morning and drive to a job like everyone else.
