telling stories the brand connection

| Today, we're interested in stories, and not particularly interested in facts. Every story needs facts, of course, but they are secondary. The facts are there just to provide some ballast for the story. There are always so many facts that don't fit into the story, and insofar as they don't fit, depending on our commitment to the story, we have a tendency to disregard them. Every good story has some connection to the truth of our experience, but the story's the thing.

Resist the Interpretation Addiction

| Sometimes we adopt a story and unknowingly our emotions get swept up in it. And 99% of the time we don’t really question or inquire into the story we create. The Most Important PR Secret

What most entrepreneurs and companies don't understand is that often the main job of the PR firm is to find the right story. It's often not the obvious story that works, because that's the same angle that the competition will be pitching. Without the right story and tone, you have a weak campaign, at best. Finding the right story, that's what it all comes down to.

“The Story Of Israel’s Economic Miracle” can also become the story of how to launch/wildly succeed your own business. Dan Senor & Saul Singer answer the question, “How does a country of 7.1 million – surrounded by enemies, in a constant state of war since its founding, and with no natural resources - produce more start-up companies than large, peaceful, and stable nations like Japan, China, India, Korea, Canada and the UK?”

Life Success Tip – Be wary who you listen to

I experienced an enlightening moment the other day. I received an email from a gentleman asking me to explain what can I offer him that my business system cannot. Even though it seems like a straightforward question, it is not. I thought about it for a while, before I responded to it. The answer is something very simple, but very deep if you actually go to look at it. From the outside, it would seem silly and weightless, but from the inside it has the makings of a solid foundation. So what was my answer to that question? Before I tell you that, let me relate a true-life story, which I heard from Les Brown, America’s foremost motivational speaker.

If you asked me that question a week ago I would've told you, "Absolutely not!" I think most of us would respond that way. We're all positive people, right? I unearthed a new mental reality about myself last Saturday. I didn't even know I was stuck in the mindset of failure, yet I was. Here’s my story:
