Managers Why not PR Like This
It all comes up roses when you persuade those important outside audiences to your way of thinking by doing something about their perceptions, thus moving many of them to take actions that help your unit succeed.

Become a Heat Seeking Missile by Robin J Elliott
Heat seeking missiles don’t have egos; they’re impartial, unattached and objective. They are goal-directed. They know exactly what they want and where they’re going. They don’t slow down or “stop to smell the roses”.

I’m back and feeling better!
When the Supreme Technician (that’s me) wanders around the world, speaking, shouting, screaming and whispering the mantra of extreme entrepreneurship and the Age of The Entrepreneur, exhorting everyone in sight to wake up and to see the roses (before smelling them), life takes its toll, oh yes it does, and my voice goes with it, grinding down to dust, to squeals, to scratchy itchings, and with it goes my imagination which says, oh, no, will I ever be able to speak again?

Making the Time

Guess we may end up with yet another device to take along... convenience sure is getting heavy!!!

It is a known fact that sunshine lifts your spirits and helps your system work well. But how quickly the days, turn into weeks, then months and hey yes another year gone!!!! I am sure that they are speeding up, or maybe it is that I am appreciating time more now.

Business Leadership Dilemma: Can the Dark Side of Employee Behavior Be Tamed?
This year is the 50th anniversary of one of the most important books in the field of leadership practices. When Douglas McGregor asked us to look at basic beliefs about the workforce he got the conversation rolling. "The Human Side of Enterprise" is a classic, one to be on all leadership development lists. Are employees lazy and self-centered, needing strong directives and lots of watching (theory X)? Or, are they inherently meant to blossom and all they need is to be given sunshine and room to bloom and grow (theory Y)?

How to Put Yourself First And Live Happily
Too often the higher we climb our corporate ladders and build our businesses the further we get from enjoying a real life. We put too many other things ahead of ourselves and by the time we get around to stopping and smelling the roses or achieving any of the other things we keep saying we'll do, we wake up and find we've missed the opportunity and it's too late. Don't let that happen to you!
