OR they are saying to themselves, "YES, it all sounds great, BUT..." |

| Hearing is a passive and subconscious use of our senses. Hearing simply means that your ears are picking noises. The Oxford dictionary describes hearing as ‘the faculty of perceiving sounds, There is no doubt that some sounds or noises will instinctively turn your hearing in to listening- a gun shot at night or a shuffling noise in the trees etc. To listen, one makes an effort to hear something, i.e. important news on the radio for instance. To listen is much more than hearing, it involves hearing a person attentively.

| It sounds almost too good to be true -- a cheap computer you can use/carry everywhere,
never have to upgrade the operating system or your apps, with a battery that
lasts for ... well a long, long time. Sounds great except we end up leaving all
of our work in the beautiful white clouds. The clouds move. We forget which cloud
has our stuff and how we get in. Worse, there's a **** storm in the cloud just
as we want to get in. Yeah...who knew what grandpa taught our little Miss Sunshine
while we were out of the room?? Guess we may end up with yet another device to

And then thoughts come popping into my mind like bubbles from nowhere – “How did their life become so adorably sweet? How come they still can manage to laugh and play around despite a busy stressful life?” Then I pause and observed for awhile… I figured out that maybe, they start to work on a place called ‘self’. |

That sounds good but in reality interviewing a person to fill a job opening is one of the more difficult tasks you may face as a manager. It does require specific skills to do it right and increase your chance of hiring the ideal person for the job; the person that will stay and fit in with the culture of your company.
