When Talking to Strangers
Discover three reasons potential customers may distrust you or your employees.

What Cold Calling Taught Me and Why I don't do it anymore.
"Hey, Diane. This is Michele. How's it going?" Sound familiar? If you've said those words before, you most likely have done cold calling. It taught me something that took me by surprise. It catapulted me into a direction I didn't see coming.

Be Remarkable!
I believe if there is nothing very special about your selling, no matter how hard you apply yourself, you won’t get noticed, and that increasingly means you won’t make very much money either. To stand out in this sea of similar, you must be remarkable!

How Not To Network
Networking is all about meeting people and making conversation, but there’s much more to it than that, or there could be, if you do it right. This article will prevent you from making networking mistakes by explaining how not to network.

What are you hiring for?
If you're trying to hire someone who presents well to strangers, creates documents without typos, is good at seeking out interesting new opportunities, can think on her feet in an interview and can network with strangers in search of a goal, your current hiring system is probably perfect.

Dont Take it Personally
Do you sometimes feel like there is a conspiracy and the whole world is picking on you? Your friends, family, colleagues, even strangers? You know they are really talking about you even though they are making general statements. Who do they think they're kidding? Strangers even seem to be going out of their way to make your day difficult. You've been bumped with shopping carts AND cut off on the road by inconsiderate people. Sound a little familiar? Here is the question - is everyone REALLY out to get you, or is it your own baggage that makes you perceive that everyone has an agenda with your name on it?

Creative Emulation is the way to Innovation
For some, the term creative emulation means copying, so I guess that’s what I’m talking about. But, I’m not talking about copying, like stealing, no, I’m talking about the kind that takes a much greater amount of creativity.

How to Deliver Your Sales Message
I’m not talking about your sales presentation. I’m talking about how you get highly qualified potential buyers to know about you so they can reach out to you. This is about how to get better results with less work.

MOST OF US REMAIN STRANGERS
Leo Buscaglia has been quoted as saying; "Most of us remain strangers to ourselves, hiding who we are, and ask other strangers, hiding who they are, to love us." Unfortunately, there is an incredible amount of truth in this statement. One thing that my life of experiences has taught me is that the likelihood of finding a deep and meaningful love relationship is directly proportional to the amount of time and effort I have spent in getting to truly know and accept myself.

The secret to success they never tell you about
What is the secret to success that everybody is preaching about, talking about incessantly, shoving down your throat, talking about all the time non stop?

Accelerating Referrals
If you want better referrals, stop talking demographics and start talking about the values that drive your and your customers success.

Smiling at Strangers
Smiling at Strangers - I can't tell you how many countless times I've found myself grocery shopping or in the mall feeling like a grouch not wanting to talk with anyone at all. I'd tell myself, "it's too big of a hassle to 'be nice' and friendly, or I didn't have the TIME or energy. Fiddlesticks. After years of this unfulfilling practice, I decided this wasn't a true reflection of who I really am. I consider myself a loving human being, and I genuinely care about people. This old behavior was a poor reflection of me, AND it didn't make me feel good. So, I created a new practice when roaming with strangers, clerks and salespeople on my shopping excursions and errands.

Who Do You Know?
When building any business it is just a matter of the number of people you talk to about your business. If you are not comfortable talking to people, especially, total strangers, you have to get over that. Then once you can talk to people, you need to know how to handle rejection, because it will surely happen. So, the challenge is going to be to handle it and then move on. However, that isn't always so easy.

X is for Xenophobia
Xenophobia is the fear of strangers or foreigners so this article is all about turning strangers into friends into customers and it’s something that you’re going to have to do if you want to succeed in your business.
