Automotive Manufactures Site Control - What is it?

Unfortunately these are trying times for many domestic automobile dealers for a number of reasons. The depth of the problems has much to do with the brand, the market and the dealers' personal situation. For many, losses or a lack of profits is starting to take its toll not just on the bottom line but on the operators and their families, their relationship with the factory and their employees. I have some examples that, unless witnessed, can be hard to appreciate. Hopefully my description will shed light where it is needed, understanding where it must and empathy where it should.

Social Emotional Intelligence in Leadership

Leaders and entire organizations have discovered that success in the workplace has significantly less to do with intelligence or core job competencies and more to do with emotional and behavioral intelligence. The best technicians and the most brilliant team members will often end up with the highest degree of dysfunction when their emotional intelligence is very low. The fattest human resource files have very little to do with job knowledge and generally, have a great deal to do with poor behavioral adaptation and emotional intelligence.

Moving Procurement Practice Beyond Adjunct Complexity (COUPA Profile)

“Organizations that already have a technology driven program in place or have just recently implemented one still surprise me with their significant interest in the dramatic changes in procurement methodologies and practices. But rather than focusing learning on new and emerging technologies, today’s procurement professionals seek insights into the actual processes that drive their enterprises. The impetus behind this change is largely the result of the fallout from the consistently high level of e-procurement initiative failures. Industry studies for the period 2001-2005 indicate 75-85% of all programs fail to achieve the promised results. (Editor’s Note: the rate of failure continues today, with some industry pundits suggesting that ERP-centric programs miss the mark as much as 90-95% of the time.)

| "The universe holds its breath as we choose, instant by instant, which pathway to follow; for the universe, the very essence of life itself, is highly conscious. Every act, thought, and choice adds to a permanent mosaic; our decisions ripple through the universe of consciousness to affect the lives of all. Lest this idea be considered either merely mystical or fanciful, let's remember that fundamental tenet of the new theoretical physics: Everything in the universe is connected to everything else."
