Strategic Thinking What Does It Really Mean
| |
| Recently I was working with a client’s management team and we were having a discussion about thinking. And as the discussion ensued I thought to myself that we think a lot, but we very seldom think about how we think. As a strategic thinking and business coach I do think quite a lot about how we think and especially how people in business think or shall I say how they “don’t think!”
In today’s economy with the global competitive pressures faced by business each day, it seems to me that there needs to be a great deal more emphasis on strategic thinking. And in my view, strategic thinking should no longer be limited to or encouraged of those in planning. I believe that strategic thinking is now necessary for everyone. |

What Is Under Your Covers?
| |
| My new client, Mark, just bought a new business. He was a homebuilder and since that industry wasn’t going too well lately, he decided to branch out into a line of kitchen renovation products.
His reasoning was that since he was used to talking with people about building $300,000 homes that it should be easy to sell $2500 kitchen accessories. |

Intuition: An Untapped Resource
| |
| What is intuition exactly? The Oxford Dictionary defines the term as “the ability to understand something instinctively, without the need for conscious reasoning.” It is a keen and quick insight, independent of any reasoning process. Choose Website company
| |
| The choice of correct colors for your website is as much strategic as it is graphic. It is not simply selecting a color that is right as per your corporate identity, you need to pay attention to the color combinations that work on web, add textures etc. Similarly, the choice is also not merely on the color you like, there has to be a reasoning and logic to support the choice, then only will they be justified on the site. There has to be just the right mix. Easier said than done, We know, still this write up will help you make a better choice. |
