Lesson #1: Out with the Old, In with the New
| |
| “I am all for titillating trivialities,” Luce once said. “I am all for the epic touch. I could almost say that everything in Time should be either titillating or epic or starkly, supercurtly factual.” |

Lesson #2: Commitments Never Come Without a Cost
| |
| “It is sometimes said that the people are ahead of the politicians; it can also be said that journalism ought to be ahead of the people. Otherwise, the people are ill-served,” said Luce. “As a journalist, I am in command of a small sector in the very front trenches of this battle for freedom.” |

Living the Balanced Life
| |
| Family life is always in flux, and sometimes these changes can be subtle, or take place over time. It is easy to say that we all need to achieve balance in our lives, but it can be hard to do-especially when we think balance means spending equal time in each area of life. Mothers can't comprehend how to achieve balance with just one child, let alone three or four. Likewise, career people often feel that they are too busy to achieve balance-that their job controls too much of their time.
Once you know your Core Desires and understand what balance really is, you'll more readily attain it. A balanced life should be the kind of a life where you have achieved a high level of harmony and satisfaction in all areas-at the same time. |

A Healthier Approach To Work Life Balance
| |
| Why is it that so many people in there thirties and forties are so stretched to the limit that their bodies and minds are stretched close to breaking point? It just seems that we have got the whole work life balance out of sync. For some reason we have designed it so that your career obligations (and time required at work) peak during the most important time of your young families life. Then when your children are grown up and have left the house you are then encouraged to reduce your workload and retire. It's time for a new approach to a healthy Work Life Balance...
A truly healthy work life balance isn't just an allocation of time. A healthy work life balance also involves an allocation of your energy to devote to your work and to other interests outside of work.

KNOWING YOUR REASON WHY IS THE MOST IMPORTANT ASPECT OF YOUR TRADITIONAL OR HOME BASED BUISNESS
| |
| All of us at some time in our lives, ponder the question - what does life have in store for me? Am I getting the most out of my life? Is there more to life that what I am currently experiencing? Is life really up to me and the approach I take? Some people seem to have everything they want in life - and more. There is a perfectly good explanation for this and it begins with one thing - knowing your reason why. If you know and understand the reason why, your life can be exceptional beyond your wildest dreams and you will never have to ponder "what's it all about" again. But you have to be prepared to make some big changes. |

Dealing With Procrastination
| |
| Well organized people manage time well. The other day, I came across an interesting quote on time from Luanne Oakes, PhD: "Time is within your control." My first reaction was "maybe in your world, Luanne, but try mine for a while and then we’ll see what you have to say." However, as I thought about it, I realized that Dr. Oakes is right -- time is within my control. I know that we live in a crazy information age where business life and home life are a blur of activity, deadlines, pressures, and projects. In this always available, always on call age, it’s hard to believe that time is within your control. But it is. You can control your time if you work at it. |

Why Should You Live Outside Your Comfort Zone?
| |
| You and I know life can be down right nasty, unforgiving, confusing, a complete struggle from time to time. Maybe there have been times that you have asked yourself- "Why, is this happening to me?"
I know I have. But, every time I get in this situation thinking the World is about to end, I dig deeper inside my soul and meditate even harder and then I share to people what is going on and I take action. Everyday without fault, every breath, each step I think about my end that is in sight. My goals. My life. What I want our of life.
