| If we are not content within ourselves then nothing, repeat nothing, will make us happy. Winning the lottery will certainly give us pleasure – we will be able to satisfy our desires, but it will not bring us happiness. Pleasures are superficial and all external – such as buying new clothes, food, alcohol, drugs and engaging in extreme sports. They need to be repeated because desires can never be satisfied. Happiness comes from inner peace with a contented and tranquil mind and an understanding of who we are, which includes our ethics, morals values and virtues. This understanding allows an acceptance of what we perceive to be our current ‘drivers’ for whatever actions, thoughts or behaviour patterns that make up our lives.

Discover How to Follow Your Heart
| |
| When you become aware of the root of achievement, every door you wish to go through will open wide. It truly is the key to success. Whether you use it to open the door or not is your choice, something you have total control over. Whether you choose to open the door or not depends solely on your heart-set, not your mind-set.
A mind-set is a fixed mental attitude formed by experience, education, and tradition. A mind-set is not the reason you succeed. In fact, it is often the reason you fail. The things you have your mind set on are often either expediencies and emergencies or idle reveries, so your prevailing mind-set lacks the power to sustain effort over time toward the kinds of lifetime achievements that bring real fulfillment. |

How the Mind Works: Understanding Your Mental Software
| |
| The complexities of the mind have left thinkers, scholars and philosophers baffled for a millennia. Adopt an Emotion: PEACE
| |
| PEACE can be described as a calm, tranquil feeling that exudes an internal state that "all is well". Even in "turbulent" times, the feeling of peace can be cultivated by a knowing that "this too will pass"...and everything will ultimately work itself out. |

Dreaming is fun, isn’t it? Part 3
| |
| Someone once said that what the mind can see, the body can achieve. I believe it. I go a step further. I believe that the mind must see it before the body is able to work for it. Look at another realm of human endeavor: sports. When Roger Bannister broke the four-minute mile, he saw it long before he did it. Over and over in his mind, he later recalled, he visualized doing what had been deemed to be impossible. Interestingly enough, once Bannister did what no one else had ever done before, others quickly succeeded in doing it. |

Wealth Creating System Step 2 – Understand Your Mind
| |
| Welcome back to my second step in creating wealth and today I want to talk about understanding how your mind works. (please make sure you have read step 1 first). There are only two primary ways we make sense of the world: consciously and unconsciously.
Your conscious mind is the mind that you actively and deliberately think with all day long. The unconscious mind is your larger mind. It can process millions of messages of sensory information every single second and contains all of your wisdom, memories and intelligence.
Until your unconscious mind is programmed towards creating wealth, nothing you learn, know or do will make any difference in the long run. You cannot overcome your unconscious programming with logical arguments or even hard work. |

Lesson #3: “You must get the old furniture of what you know, think, and believe out before anything new can get in”
| |
| “The problem is never how to get new, innovative thoughts into your mind, but how to get old ones out,” Hock once said. “Every mind is a room packed with archaic furniture. You must get the old furniture of what you know, think, and believe out before anything new can get in. Make an empty space in any corner of your mind, and creativity will instantly fill it.” |

"Talent Develops in Tranquility..."
| |
| We cannot create tranquil lives without building strong character. Character develops as we live our lives. Every action we take either strengthens or weakens our character. It’s in those day to day moments, when no one notices, that we have the opportunity to make choices to create our best selves. |
