Waiting for a Pullback!
The past week in gold, silver, oil, natural gas and the broad market wasn’t anything to write home about. We are seeing controlled profit taking which is making the market choppy. Many traders are getting very bearish on the market which is a good thing in my opinion. According to my market internals, sentiment and volume analysis we should get a shake out (sharp dip) which would make traders exit their positions before the market continues higher.

Mid-Week Commodity ETF Update!
Commodities and stocks have been on fire the past two weeks and I think it just may be time for things to take a breather. Profit taking could happen anytime from now

A New Trend in Web Marketing Capturing the Attention of the Novice Web User
In our work as usability consultants we have seen an interesting trend on the Web. This trend has to do with the increase in novice users learning to get their needs met via the Internet. These users have decided they finally need to go online to get information or buy products and services. The novice user has found that there is now enough benefit to the Internet that they should take the time and energy to get out of their comfort zone and get online.

A Silver Century Is Colouring Our Labour Markets
We are on the cusp of a huge change and yet only a few can see it. According to The Conference Board of Canada’s most recent research finding, “A rising proportion of old and “very old” (those 80 years of age or more) citizens will be the defining demographic trend in most countries. A second trend, the rapid fall in fertility rates, will create societies with fewer young people. In Western countries, the labour surplus of the last quarter of the 20th century will become history in the first quarter of the next century.” Indeed, the 21st century will be the silver century worldwide.

On-line Reputation Management For Your Small Business
Harmful anonymous on-line comments can influence customers to stay away from your small business based on nothing but hearsay. Once the damage is done, it is extremely hard to reverse. On-line reputation management has become the most important aspect of on-line marketing.

Tips On Writing With Personality
There has been a major shift in how people buy things and relate to companies in the past 3 years and this trend is brilliant for small business. The trend is away from ‘buying a brand” to “buying the person behind the brand”. We have been disillusioned by big business – so now we are looking to know the faces behind the names of the brand. We want to know their personalities, what makes them tick and can we trust them to do what they say they will.

ID Theft - Fastest growing financial crime in America
Identity theft is the fastest growing financial crime in America - striking thousands of victims each year. In a matter of seconds, your personal information such as a social security number, a credit card number and/or an address can be stolen and used to obtain a new mortgage, a line of credit or additional credit cards. Protect yourself from this fast growing trend.

“Multiply Your Marketing Results – Exponentially!”
Can you imagine what it would be like if you could exponentially increase the return you get for every marketing Euro spent? If you have ever gone fishing for mackerel you will probably be aware that on each line there are many hooks, this means every time you cast your line into the sea the number of fish you can catch is multiplied by the number of hooks on your line. There is a way that you can apply this technique to your marketing so that each campaign is aimed not just at one prospect but many prospects for the same price.

Are You Rude on The Internet? It Can Hurt Your Business.
I don’t know about you but I’ve noticed a disturbing trend occurring both on the Internet and in real life. The trend is rudeness. I watched a taping of Oprah tonight (see the CNN breakdown of this show here) that enlightened me to a book, a doctor and a quote that made the light bulbs go off. Dr. PM Forni wrote a book called, “Choosing Civility: The Twenty-Five Rules of Considerate Conduct” and although I have not read it yet, you bet it will be in my next book store purchase.

Pursuing your own Goals
Recently, I made one of my rare and infrequent trips to a retail store. It's not that I don't like to buy things. I simply do not enjoy the process of shopping, so I leave it to others. While at the store, I took the opportunity to observe people who had selected the items they wished to purchase and were waiting to pay for their items in the checkout line. Some people simply picked the nearest line, stood in the back, and waited. Others roamed back and forth looking for the shortest line and waited there. Then there was the third group of shoppers who constantly got out of one line and got into another, thinking they would save time by getting in the faster-moving line.
