Here Is A Method That Is Helping Managers Deal With Difficult Staff
| |
| The majority of new managers waste around 57% of their time dealing with difficult staff? Why? It is because they don’t know the secrets of how to easily deal with these problem staff that every business has. You cannot just end the employees’ contract anymore, like you could in the old days due to the new employment laws, so you as a manager have the challenge of handling and rectifying the situation, so ... |

Keeping Customers when Things Go Wrong - Five keys to turning upset customers into fans
| |
| When attempting to resolve customer complaints, most business owners and managers believe the myth that money back guarantees and/or exchange policies will fix the problem. In reality, money back guarantees and exchanges may fix the problem, but they do nothing to fix the relationship. Policies don't fix relationships -- people do. Chunk your goals and get them done
| |
| I have always liked the quote “Goals are dreams with a deadline” because it is so true.
My clients come to me with wanting to get goals done because this has been a problem for them.
When they describe the goals the problems become very clear. The most common is they are so big and broad it would be difficult to know if they achieve it.
Let me give you example. Some of my coaching clients who are salespeople establish “Exceed quota” as a goal. I agree with them this is a great one but here is my question.
Do we know how it will be achieved or when it will happen?
You see that seems to be the problem most of us have.

PROBLEM SOLVING
| |
| It isn’t that they can’t solve the problem. It is that they can’t see the problem.
The Scandal of Father Brown (1935).
People differ not only in how much they worry, but also in what they worry. Quite often the way we see the problem is the problem. It would be helpful to start with self, your motivation, and what you were looking for. |

Elements of a Sales Letter and What Makes a Good Headline?
| |
| The first step to write a good sales letter is to describe the problem: When people first reach your sales letter, you need to put them in the right frame of mind. Talk about their problem -- what you think has brought them to your page or email. Tell a story that empathizes with them, telling your personal story. Make the problem bigger, so that they feel like they need a solution. Every sales letter has a problem, that of paying for your product. You want to make their problem big enough, so that it's more worth their while to pay for your product than to suffer whatever problem brought them to you. |

| |
| I don't mean to paint a picture that depicts CEO's as the problem, but in some companies, they are the problem. So if you are a CEO or know one, what should you do when getting help for your sales organization? |

Problem Solving: Step One
| |
| The first step to solving any problem is asking yourself this question: Am I trying to solve a problem or am I trying to change something that I have no power to change? In my world a problem is something that I can solve with the resources that are at my disposal using skills I own within a reasonable length of time. Something I can’t change is a condition, not a problem. We’ve all hear “conditions of employment.” haven't we? |
