Now more than ever, we must develop a high prosperity consciousness to keep our spirits up and maintain a positive attitude. One of the best ways to do this is through using universal principles.

What are the Upsides of This Major Downturn?
Well, we've all heard plenty about the major down turn that we're in the midst of. The news media is having a real hay day with it all. Unemployment continues to rise, home foreclosures are everywhere, and no one seems to know quite what to do about it all. But let's take a step back and look at this from a different perspective. Let's say for the moment that we live in a universe where there are no accidents. I know that can be a bit of a challenge in its own right, especially when it looks like there's been a major accident on the universal freeway, but I don't think so. After hearing a number of recommendations for the book Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill, I downloaded a copy to listen to in the car. One of the first things the book says is to take it one chapter at a time, really absorb each one and integrate the ideas slowly, making them your own. Having to spend the next 2 hours in the car I initially scoffed at listening to just one chapter. The first profound statement hit me as the book unfolded in the first chapter. It said ‘the goal of this book is to help you move from a failure consciousness to a success consciousness’. I did indeed stop the book after the first chapter and give it some thought, which quickly made me realize how much of my life I have spent with a failure consciousness.
