The Serendipity Factor

| Incredible things happen independently of those you personally create. I call these serendipitous blessings. When you're pushing hard on door A, someone or something opens door B. Often, when you look through door B, what's behind it is much better than what you were going after in the first place. However, you wouldn't have seen door B open if you hadn't been in the hall pushing on door A. Get in the here and now and look for the other opened doors, or go open some doors on your own. |

| Simply put, The Secret is also known as the Law of Attraction. The Law of Attraction is a universal law: whatever is going on in your mind (thoughts and feelings) is what you attract more of into your life. We are like magnets – like attracts like. Whatever we give thought and energy to, we attract more of it. |

Energy suckers vs Energy feeders.

| The biggest source of energy suckers in your life is yourself. You are the one cutting corners by not respecting your own needs, eating well, exercising or making time for fun in your life. Anything that takes the fun out of your life is an ‘energy sucker’ and anything that puts the fun back into your life is an ‘energy giver’ and feeds you energy. Identify your ‘suckers’ and replace them with ‘feeders’ that feed you with energy and enthusiasm. |

What are the Upsides of This Major Downturn?

| Well, we've all heard plenty about the major down turn that we're in the midst of. The news media is having a real hay day with it all. Unemployment continues to rise, home foreclosures are everywhere, and no one seems to know quite what to do about it all.
But let's take a step back and look at this from a different perspective.
Let's say for the moment that we live in a universe where there are no accidents. I know that can be a bit of a challenge in its own right, especially when it looks like there's been a major accident on the universal freeway, but I don't think so.
I think it's more likely that we've been paid a visit from the Universal UPS Truck. |
