Business Growth Needs Powerful Objectives
Yogi Berra is quoted as saying “If you don’t know where you are going you will end up somewhere else”. Business objectives specify where you are going; they are your destination. They give you direction to drive your company’s growth. They provide your team with a common purpose. They focus your activities towards a future goal. All business owners set objectives. The key, however, is to ensure the objectives are powerful and will result in successful growth. All too often objectives are vague. Or they are so unrealistic that they lack credibility. Or they are missing measurable and specific results.

Lead With Vision
Leaders have vision and pull others into their vision. They have a clear mental picture of what success looks like. They attract others to their vision with a sense of purpose, belief, passion and enthusiasm.

Visionarys Disease and the CEO
We all know the value of vision. The Greek philosophers spoke about it. Former President George Bush recommended attention to "the vision thing." What happens when an organization's problem isn't a lack of vision but too much? What happens when the CEO's vision changes monthly, weekly, or even daily-driving his organization crazy? Top Tips for Writing a Business Plan
A well structured business plan can provide in-depth understanding of your existing or proposed business. A wide vision will be provided, showing your own goals, objectives and information regarding your available finances and additional funds you will require.

Realizing Your Entrepreneurial Vision
Question: Can you become a successful entrepreneur? Answer: Yes, but you can’t do it alone. Entrepreneurs begin by creating a vision. The vision states what your company does, why it is in business and what it will achieve. From this vision, a company strategy emerges. It describes the actions the company will take to make the vision a reality. Your company’s future pain and success is a function of 1) whether your vision serves the needs of the marketplace and 2) how successfully your company implements its strategy.

Goal Setting Can Limit Our Flexibility and Learning
Goals are precise and measurable objectives with exact time frames and targets. Goals are short-term steps toward our long-term vision. Goals are specific points along our journey to higher performance. They could be organization or team improvement objectives such as targets for cycle time, customer satisfaction, error or defect rates, new products or services, costs, or revenues.
