The Magic Formula to Better Results: It's Your Response that Counts
In today's economic times, when everywhere you look there’s a rumbling of great uncertainty, I think we should all take a pause (and a deep breath) to think about our lives.

Don't Wait To Be Bailed Out!
While the economy is in this downward financial spiral people need to get educated and focus on their future. We all need to decide what we are going to do next, and not wait on the next bailout from the government. Working for the man doesn't seem to be working since people are getting let go from there jobs, so start working for yourself and controling your financial future, and the benefits are fantastic.

Control Your Inputs
Your mind is your ultimate personal computer. Like your laptop at home, sometimes you might forget to turn on your mental virus protection program allowing negative thoughts to invade your mind - without even realizing it. So, the computer adage "Garbage in, garbage out" as it applies to your mind should really be "Garbage in, garbage stays."

Much has been written about September 11, 2001. But more needs to be said. Let us examine how we got to this place in time and what we can learn from the experience so that this kind of horrific attack can be prevented in the future.

More Strategic PR Advice From Your PR Doctor

Women and minorities business coach: Why would someone at the top of their chosen profession need a coach? The answer is quite simple. They realize, as do top performers in every field, the value of having someone on the sidelines watching their every move and making sure they're on track. They know that, while they are doing what they do, it's important to have someone watching their every step and providing feedback to help them be their best.

Gather Your Own Information
We have become a society terrorized by information overload. There are no longer any mysteries in our surroundings. We are kept aware of everything at the speed of 24 hour news, internet sites, breaking news, severe weather, along with the minutiae of the subtle changes that occur thousands of times per day. Everything in real time. It’s George Orwell's 1984 on steroids. “Big Brother “ is not only watching but he’s reporting. What we have today pales in comparison to the fear instilled in us by that classic novel.

Staying Current and Adjusting in the Retail Business
In the not too long ago past there were three main sources of live news; TV, newspaper and the radio. This older format allowed people to either look at or not look at what was being presented by the media. Nowadays, there are countless sources of live news, thanks to the Internet. So, with so many sources of news, I select only the subject matter I am interested in and sources that I find to be accurate; hence "selectively". It is obvious that we are in an economic crisis, which is old news. But it wasn't old news back in September or October of 2008. I knew that the economy was being steered into a storm, like nothing I had ever seen before.

An Open Hand
Inspiration comes to me from the strangest places. The other day I was watching “Clean House” a show I am addicted to. It is all about watching people let go of clutter and free themselves to function at a higher level. The hostes, Niecy Nash, is a very sassy woman who speaks real gems sometimes.

Why Do So Many Businesses Fail?
Since beginning this experiment I've had a lot of time to think about things during my seven mile walks each day. It seems all we hear about in the news lately is how all the mega-corporations are failing. Whether it's a company that is completely destroyed and forced out of business due to corrupt managment, or the government needing to jump in an bail out the automotive companies. The fact that I even know what's going on in the world is amazing, since I boycotted the news back in January and haven't began watching it since that time. Unfortunately I spend a good amount of time with Twitter and see all the doom and gloom headlines each day. THANKS ALOT TWITTER!!!

Don't Become a Digital Dinosaur
Today's Internet means amateurs have more power than ever before. This is good news and bad news. The good news is that anybody can have their say. But the bad news is that anybody can have their say! If you still want to be "The Go To Guy/Gal" in your area of expertise, you'd better be out there, making a contribution. You can bet your life somebody is else doing it - on your turf, to your clients, in your market.
