Are You an Egomaniac? Ten Questions with Steven Smith
Steven Smith has spent the past ten years exploring how great leaders use ego differently than everyone else—how they work, think, collaborate, and who they are. The result of his work is a book he co-authored with David Marcum called egonomics: What Makes Ego Our Greatest Asset (or Most Expensive Liability). His work has been featured by The Dallas Morning News, The Arizona Republic, The Irish Times, Cincinnati Enquirer, and Le Figaro. The topic of this interview is one of paramount importance to anyone who wants to change the world: Ego. Too much? Too little? How much is just enough?

Let Paper Join HistoryPress Kits Join History
The CEA (Consumer Electronics Association) started the world of change a few years ago "encouraging" PR people to only use online press services or online kits. Most of the shows followed suit (MWC - Mobile World Congress, CTIA and well most other shows) going green and making press materials available to media folks even if they didn't attend. But the hue and cry from publicists at NAB (National Association of Broadcasters) show was difficult to understand. The benefits of the web and online services aren't new. After all these years we're rather glad to see the blood, sweat, tears of paper kits disappear

FINDING YOUR LIFE PUPOSE MINDFULLY
Living your life on purpose with a set of goals can easily be achieved especially when you learn to enjoy the journey rather than getting attached to the results, acknowledging and letting go of old patterns of thinking that no longer work, staying present and "being" in the action steps, and finally, trusting your inner wisdom which has always been there to guide you.

So What Is This Thing Called Coaching?
Without a doubt, one of the most powerful tools to maximize your potential to produce better results is coaching. A client may initially hire a coach to reach a professional goal or they may be looking to make a personal lifestyle change. We live in a fast-paced world with a myriad of changes happening beyond one’s control. However, taking a leap of faith into exploring your own potential puts you in control with more confidence. You already are! Awakening to meet your potential is an invitation to make room for who you are to flow into expression.

Get Over Yourself and Publish Your Prices Already
Jakob Nielsen has published his annual Top Ten Mistakes in Web Design for 2007. It’s classic Nielsen—high on quality, low on filler. Number 10 on the list is my favorite by far and always sparks healthy debate amongst my colleagues. (That’s probably why it’s my favorite.) Nielsen tells us to plainly answer your user’s most burning questions. Be forthright, not mysterious. And always answer the most obvious question which is “How much does it cost?”

In the western world, taking action often appears to be the best solution for many life situations. When you want to expand your business, for example, you might set up a short term plan as well as a long term vision. Each day you take action as you progress toward your chosen goals.
