Watch Your Questions
| |
| I have found that everyone has a constant question inside of them. This question is the guiding force of a person's life. By identifying the question within yourself, you can recognize how you interact with life and what your repeating patterns are regularly. What is your question?

Creating Your Vision
| |
| As a youngster I often pretended I was the teacher and my friends were students in my class. When my friends didn't want to play I just used my dolls and stuffed animals. In later years I would daydream in class about how I could make the topic easier to understand or the class more fun than the teacher up front. I didn’t know it then but I was creating a vision. |

Wisdom vs. Knowledge
| |
| How many people have you met who have an immense amount of knowledge, are like walking encyclopedias but aren’t very wise? And how many people are very simple and don’t have a wealth of knowledge or information but are very, very wise? How wise are you and those you hang out with? |

Protect Your Ideas With Copyrights and Patents
| |
| A wise man once said, "The biggest difference between a copyright and a patent is the number of lawyers it takes to do the paperwork." Is Experience The Best Teacher?
| |
| It’s interesting to consider the wisdom of some expressions in common use these days.
How about the phrase “Experience is the best teacher?” Or how about this gem, “What you don’t know won’t hurt you?” And what about, “He or she is a born sales person” or “Ignorance is bliss”?
As I work these days with sales people and sales managers across Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia I see so many examples of why beliefs like these are so dangerous.Experience is not the best teacher |

What Do You Need, A Mentor Or A Coach?
| |
| I don't know about you but I have been trying to get answers to this question. I have used these two words loosely and interchangeable. They are coach and mentor. Is there a difference between these words? Confusion again?
There are several definitions for the words mentor and coach.
A mentor is a wise and trusted counselor or teacher.
A coach is to give instruction and advise. |

Mentors Make Magic in Your Life
| |
| How about you? Do you have a mentor? Do you have someone you talk to on a regular basis about your career, life, job and anything else that is important in your life? I don’t mean a friend, or a buddy, I mean a mentor. Someone who will listen with an open mind and give you the straight advice you need. Webster defines mentor as: “A wise and trusted counselor or teacher”. Do you have one?

“Market Research” Story
| |
| There is a good old story that is often narrated about a young boy and a wise old teacher. I frequently start my presentations with this story as, for me, it tells everything about the real purpose of market research. |
