In 2005, Branson said his goal was to turn Virgin into “the most respected brand in the world.” Branson is not far off from achieving his goal. Virgin was recently found to be one of the UK’s top three favourite and most respected brand names and both the brand and the man behind it are known throughout the world.

Lesson #4: Use Your Intuition
“I only do what my gut tells me to,” says Lopez. “I think it’s smart to listen to other people’s advice, but at the end of the day, you’re the only one who can tell you what’s right for you.”

Lesson #4: Try Something New
“Don’t be afraid of the trial-and-error approach,” wrote Lauder in her 1985 autobiography as a piece of advice to would-be entrepreneurs. “Trust your instincts…create your own style.”

Investing Yourself
One of the most fascinating stories I’ve ever heard comes out of Holland. The citizens in the little village of Ida in Holland were astonished when Hans Bergen died because he left an estate of $40,000 to a young girl named Anne Martin. She, of all people, was the most surprised villager of all, for she had never spoken to Hans Bergen. How could such a thing happen to her?

When Does Training Become Learning?
Have you ever been in a situation that was so difficult you could not wait for it to be over? Learning happens when you experience every moment to the fullest, without dwelling in the past or anticipating the future. I learned something about the meaning of training and learning from an ancient Sufi tale called, Fatima, the Spinner and the Tent.

It is said that every person has at least one good story in them! Some people are gifted to have more than one. Do you know a future writer – someone who dreams of writing fiction, poetry, or short stories? Maybe that future writer is…you! If you dream of writing, then why not write? Why not Dare to Dream…and Dream BIG?

Universal Alignment
When the Universe is aligned for YOU, you do not want to miss it. Success could be just around the corner--with everything you could ever want just waiting for you. The trick is to be open to these gifts, open to the Universe. So what are you waiting for?

How to seize opportunities
Having the ability to seize opportunities is vital if you want to be enterprising. This skill can be developed and will help you to start up or grow your business. Sue Stockdale saw the chance to become a polar adventurer, something she had always dreamed of, when she noticed a newspaper advert. By grabbing the opportunity it changed her life dramatically and became the reason she started up her company, Mission Possible. Read about how you need to be thinking in order to grab opportunities when they appear.

Oprah Winfrey Biography
The biography of Oprah Winfrey is of the stuff that movies are made. Born January 29, 1954, in Kosciusko, Mississippi, Oprah Winfrey was raised by her religious grand-mother who inspired the young girl’s broadcasting career by encouraging her to read aloud at their church. Since then, there has been no turning back for her.

Coco Chanel Bio
The Coco Chanel bio is a story that begins far removed from the opulence that her name would later come to represent. Born in Saumur, France, in 1883, Gabrielle Bonheur ‘Coco’ Chanel was the illegitimate daughter of a shop girl – who would die soon after – and a traveling salesman – who would abandon his daughter on the streets of France. It was her two aunts, with whom she was sent to live, who would teach the young girl the etiquette that would come to shape the Coco Chanel bio.

Smart Women Think Like 10 Year Olds!
This article is about reflecting on who you were as a 10 year old girl----before hormones and society began to manipulate your thinking. Are you still the authentic girl you were at 10? As women, we take on many roles between the ages of 16-35. Along the way, it can be a challenge to maintain our core, our authentic selves. It’s essential that we return to that place—our core so that we can live a full passionate and purposeful life.

Square Peg Round Hole
In his wonderful book The Element, Sir Ken Robinson tells a story that I’m sure many people can relate to. In it, a young girl named Gillian is having trouble concentrating at school. The school – suspecting a learning disability – asks her mother to take 8-year-old Gillian to see a psychiatrist for evaluation. After hearing from the girl’s mother how the girl is always disturbing her classmates, her homework is sloppy and always late – the doctor asks to speak with Gillian alone. Before escorting the mother outside for a private conference, the doctor turns on the radio in the room to occupy Gillian. As soon as the music began to play, the girl was on her feet. From outside the room, Gillian’s mother observed for a few minutes as she moved beautifully to the music, dancing around the room, lost in a childlike trance.

Generating Traffic For Your Website - Some Practical Online Marketing Ideas
Since early 2000 networking site and blogs have been around but they were almost exclusively under the purview of young students. It was almost beyond comprehension that these phenomena once considered just a trend would become one of the most significant means of communication for both the young and the young at heart. Further, that it would be adopted by network marketers as one more arrow in their collective quiver.

A Little Boy and His Empty Bag
I recently accompanied my mother on a routine medical appointment with her new physician. This morning appointment and the literal change was more out of necessity than choice since her physician of over twenty years finally threw in the towel and retired. While completing the enormous mounds of paperwork required by a new medical provider in today's contradictory electronic world, I noticed a young mother walk into the waiting area with two small children. The mother was probably in her early twenties and the children, one girl and one boy, looked to be four and three respectively. She was flanked on both sides by these extremely well kept and well behaved young children. The boy more noticeably was on her right hand and closest to me as they passed by in order to check in with the receptionist and eventually find a place to sit.

The Wiener That Ate New York!
But wait: what's this? Turns out Wiener, who just last summer found time in his hectic Beck-bashing schedule to marry a young protege of Hillary Clinton's, has been sending tawdry self-portraits over the internet to various OTHER young women, such as a college girl in Seattle. Really? Seriously, Congressman...?

“…So you’re sayin’ there’s a chance?”
Okay, my tastes in movies are not very refined – I like funny and happy. Remember that great scene in Dumb and Dumber where Lloyd (Jim Carrey) and Harry (Jeff Daniels) have driven across the country to reconnect with Lloyd’s dream girl, Mary (Lauren Holly)? Lloyd: What do you think the chances are of a guy like you and a girl like me... ending up together?

I Won the Lottery and You Did Too
Years ago, my best friend called while I was studying for a test and told me that the lottery was at $200 million. I told her I had $5.00, gave her my numbers, and she bought my ticket. That night she called and said "girl you won, not the big one but you have 4 of the six numbers." So I learned at a young age, that I won the lottery that truly pays off: the lottery of life. You can't wish or hope that good things will occur. You have to stay prepared, and work your plan. This is the way you win the lottery of life.
